Peace and a lot of comfort. Holidays are hard when you’re alone and no family to go home to anymore. My mom loved Thanksgiving and Christmas and now she’s gone it just doesn’t feel the same.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your mom. Nothig can ever replace your mother and it is so difficult to learn to navigate a life without someone who has been with you from the very beginning every step of the way. Your mom would want you to be happy and to make new memories. Take care of yourself, pamper yourself, take up new hobbies, and join activities that interest you to meet like-minded individuals so you don't feel as alone. I truly believe in the concept of found family and while nothing can ever replace your mom or the rest of your family, you cam find new memories in the people hat bring you joy, who encourage you to be the best version you can be, and you will know that you are not alone. There are people who love you and will love you, just keep an open mind and do things that bring you happiness and you will find them

I guess being an “orphan “ for almost 30 years you just get used to being left with only memories and I try hard to find happiness during the holiday’s and I love seeing everyone enjoying themselves and sending cards to new friends I’ve made online.
